Looks like EMI got there first.  Here's the message on Youtube:

This video contains content from EMI, who has blocked it in your country on copyright grounds.

Seems like granny has become meaner over the last few years while Suffocator has become nicer.

Where's the beatdown?! I saw way too much blue sky for that to be a beatdown. I am not sure how much Grannies has changed in the last few years in terms of "beatdown factor". It has always been sticky. I have seen Ohta get handled in there a few years ago when the sticky level was around 5500. What has changed is the level the wave is in, which I think has to do with the shifting of the gravel island and the channel on the other side of it. Over the last few years it continues to be in, and really good, at higher levels. I remember surfing trinity and grannies in the same day, but last year it seemed like 7000 to 8000 was the money level for the wave. Big and fast.

I might have been upright the majority of the time while I was in there. Sure, I went with it, but I'm tellin' ya... I was in and not gettin' out. It felt like the shape of the wave has changed at the old money level of 5600. It's a pit and the shoulders helpedhold me in there. I couldn't surf out. When I finally do you see a spash of water on my upstream side, that's carving "up" the shoulder and out. This year I like it 9-13k on the Peshastin gauge. This year I surfed rodeo, trinity, turkey, and grannies same day, same run. Grannies at 13 ish was a big wide green wave with an excellent, but not THAT retentive of a pile at the top. Surfed it for 2 minutes. I agree the gravel bar moved , widening the channel.

That's what you get for indulging your Gilf fetish, Bret!
I guess its the most change prone rapid on the snatch. Been getting consistently good "ass grabs" from the depraved 'ol gal when running livestock. Scares the kids.

It's possible me n the Diablo have a date w/ the old Crone, so if you're lucky to be around you may be witness to my own beatdown

Nice soundtrack, apt.
Booming Granny would also be, B- Boy
