I know many of you kayak Tumwater without stopping to take in the wonderfulness that is Leavenworthless. So here is a bit of silliness and frivolity interspersed with me getting kinda worked.

Cool video. At 2:00, linked below, are those calf warmers the men are wearing? They look like socks with the ankle part missing. I guess if you don't want your socks bunching up around your ankles from all the hard dancing, this is a fair solution.

If they were just on the old guys I'd guess they were TED hose, but otherwise they seem purely decorative, or perhaps men's calves, in that culture, need to be covered, like women's, eh, nevermind.
