Yeah, I gotta say thats one of the funnest trips ive had on the Tilt-O-Whirl. Great crew! Way to rally, gang!
2000 is a great flow. Still simple enough to be straight forward and manageable, yet fat enough to have some quality push, boil, and swirl for your whirl.
Great surf- The "Waterfall Wave" was sweet!

Gotta give my props too, as it was a fantastic day on the Tilton yesterday!! Great whitewater, awesome PPeeps... Definitely one of my favorite runs now!!!
I'd like to run it again in a couple weeks, if anyone is interested (weather permitting). I'll post on PP to try and rally people together. Hope to see you all out there again!!

It was great that PPeeps came outta the woodwork, grest that it was a "PP forum" generated trip. Quality water w/ quality PPeeps.
Slick- thanks for driving. Good to be on the water with you more. You and I need to keep some opportunities on the radar for some more 'custom' trips though- I see potential.
Gwendolyn- when you want to go back give me a shout. Its a great run for you to keep on your menu right now- you Burnt that run up!
Bigwater- great to get out on one of your stomping ground staples with you- shred that sh*t up!! Great flow- makes me wanna go back in the 2,000 zone. Tilton is the bomb, yo! We gots to let them know!
Ben, JayB, Cindy and john. Glad you all made it. Man, it really is one of Washington's Crown Jewel III-IV runs.
Those two dudes in the I-K's:
C'mon- where ya at? We know you're lurkin on here. Ya can't hide, ya know-
Besides, you guys must've rocked it. Because you didn't try to latch onto us, ran ahead of us and were long gone when we got to the t.o.
Bravo. Kind of a stout flow for IK'n. Big water in there. Just sayin. Raising a bottle of beer in your honor, right about now.
I achieved my goal. I started the trip with three Arrogant Bastards in my boat.Finished with only one. Thanks for helping me get rid of one of those, those who did

it was a problem with safari and the gallery code, it was fixed yesterday evening along with some other safari related issues

yea but that is because I did not edit the original post. If you were to make the same post again with images out of your gallery it would be different now. With firefox, safari, chrome or ie.
Before it never linked back to the images in your gallery but now it does. The link to the style sheet was because safari does not handle style sheet encoded text areas the same way every other browser does. That is also why for a while all your posts and a few others had hyperlinks back to the stylesheet even though you never made it.
I would not mind if you tried it again just so I know it is working on what ever version of safari or firefox your using.

Awesome pics Brian! Much better depiction of the Tilton than that logjam portage pic. The true nature of the Tilton is revealed.
That waterfall wave was so fun. Soul frontsurfing with a pocket eddy.
How I could tell it was a good trip - the smile factor was high all day long.

Oops. Guilty. Pretty sure. Thought it was buried a bit too deep. I'll get it back to you or buy ya a new one, Brian.

Excerpt from how to live in a van:

fearful people.
3.) Place the groover against the rear bumper, centered, with the
long axis out away from trailer hitch. What? Your van ain't got a hitch?

Slickhorn, I am going out on a limb here and suggesting your go with the new one!!!
Just kidding of course, it just reminded me of a funny past thread, and by the way these quotes are very much how our news is reported these days. Completely without context and lacking any substantial value.

I object! TOTALLY out of context!!
I mean, you didn't include the carefully articulated instructions about the Safeway bags- that's a key element. Because that's where you go to deposit your deposit after you make it back to town, and it wouldn't be right to be dropping a QFC "DirtWag BagTM" in a safeway garbage can, now would it?
Man, what am I gonna do when Washington bans plastic bags? The handles hook onto the van groover so well, too.
