What: PP Ball 2009 Planning Party - Initial Meeting
When: 10/9/2008 @ 6:30 PM

Why: To plan and discuss the 2009 Ball
Who: Anyone that is interested in helping plan, volunteer or help with our function next year.
Details: This year is going to be alot smoother to plan than last year since so many of the side details have already been confirmed and selected for next years event. So this year were going to focus on how we can make it better and the Ramp Bigger than last year. Here are some of the topics that were going to be focusing on.
- Official Events (Race, Ramp, and Rodeo)
- Cook Off
- Raffle & Auction
- Refreshments
- Grounds Prep & Clean Up
- Side Action (Movies, Slack Line, etc.. )
- Sponsorship & Donation Effort
This last year we did alot of the planning with the location and other details unknown until just before the event. This year were going to have a much longer window to prepare as our work last year will continue to fruit for this years event!
Also remember that all this planning is not just about having a fun time. Last year everyones hard work and charitable donations allowed us to raise almost 2k for a great cause. Although we wanted to save a few pennies for this years event, we didn't so were starting from Scratch with our Funding. Although we don't have the same official cause this year, be assured that again our community will be blessed with our efforts in many ways!
Thanks again for a great time last year, all the help and stay tuned for yet another great Event planned by US for US!

I'll be in Cali for the Burnt Ranch Race that weekend but just wanted to say this year's Icicle Race was kickass. I'd be happy to help out w/ the planning on that one if it helps.

Of course the meeting is on.
Anyone that wants to help plan feel free to meet up. Also since were now a 501C3 we can do donation credits from last years event and this years. Stop on by if you would like to discuss that too!
