Anyone for FITW again on Wednesday night? It's low, but still good for what ails you (as is Ale for that matter).

Actually, it's not low at all.  The cup was fully filled last night when I got there, and when I left only one peak was poking out of the water.  Good medium flow.

For you FITW newbs, aspiring first timers and those that have forgot.  As the season progresses on this short segment of hydrologic and gravity assisted bliss, the gage will read lower as the lower portions of the drainage dry out.  That just means more liquid coming from the top.  Looking at the snow last night, there's quite a bit of life left.  Another couple weeks of warm weather and the gage should be correlating really well with what's up top, meaning a lower reading will actually be a higher flow.  When everything is coming off the top flows in the 300-400 range would be medium, with either side of that being high or low. Rule of thumb I use is the gage doesn't correlate until the snow at the put-in is gone.  It's not perfect but it seems to work.

Regardless get out and have fun on the run.
