It's not really a run, but there are some drops up there... and now a CFS gauge for correlation! Sweet. Perhaps one of the stream keeps will create a page with a link.

I think the gauges have been off line all summer as the USGS changed the JSON tags and formatting. I could bring them back online but I just didn't think anyone really cared.

Besides the random spammer and old school paddler responding with Sexual innuendos, Does anyone really want this resource anymore?

I come here occasionally to see photos of old friends and to keep my spirits up while I am recovering from my shoulder surgery.... Probably should have done that 10 years ago when I originally tore the cuff but what ever...

James, bite your tongue. PP is my goto for gauges and mischief, for sure. I always have some PPage up on my device, more dreaming than anything, but I still like watching the rivers go up and down. Don't care for the new computer modeling though. Old crusty paddlers typically talk trash cuz they just don't get out enuff. When the wing is ready for flight, I'd soar with the Professor. Lez go

I still use it as my go to for gauges… and beta as well. Of course I’m in the old school category I guess.

Please don't ever take PP down. Someday the boomerang will return and the PP phoenix will rise. Much better than any of the large social media sites. This format was ahead of its time

Just keep doing everything your physical torturer tells you and it'll be good. But yeah it sucks and will contiue to suck, but it does get better!

On another gauge related note… Ruby Creek in the N Cascades has a real time gauge that would fit nicely on the Granite Creek and Granite/Ruby pages.

I updated the Granite-Ruby page with that gauge. I guesstimated a range of 400-1000 based on my past flow estimations and see that Tom reported 800 as medium on AW. Please report any trips so we can adjust the range.

Also I can add this gauge to upper Granite, but as I have no experience on that run I'm not sure where to start with adding in levels based on that gauge especially considering the gauge is below 2 major tribs (Panther and Canyon). If you can suggest a high/low, Wacko, I can get that updated as well.

In related news, the N. Cascades Highway just opened for the season. Go get some.

We had 862 last year and i would call that a decent medium flow if you knew the run, primarily the wood situation. It seems the wood is the major challenge for both runs. Maybe 500 for a good low. Haven't paddled the upper yet, though i would wager, if you doubled the levels in Bennett you'd be close🤷🏿‍♀️

Another challenge is the takeout. It's a huff. Too bad there isn't a road that goes down to the creek near the mouth... that would make Ruby a super fun 3+ to run laps on.
