As we get closer to the event there are a few things that we are realizing will be neccesary that we are hoping to have the community help out with.
First thing is WOOD. There hasn't been much driftwood so far this year so we are very short on wood for the fires. If you have room in your vehicles and can bring up some wood to contribute to the fires it would be very appreciated. We are still working on tracking down some pallets but anything helps. We want a fire they can see from space so the party will last all night.
Secondly is a generator. While there is power out there we found this weekend that we were having a hard time using power tools. The juice seemed low, maybe low amperage(I'm not an electrician) But, the idea being that a generator would be great for a back up source of power. We are planning on having Yotes' pa system running, most likely with a mis mosh of jam band accoutrement and also a projector playing movies and re-runs of the rodeo. Just want to be sure to have enough power. If anyone has one they could loan/bring up for the weekend it would be very appreciated.
We may add more to the list but for now that's it. Cant wait to see everyone out there this weekend and a huge THANK YOU to the crew that came out to set up the ramp this last weekend!

One more thing and pretty important. We need VOLUNTEERS. If your coming up and can help out please contact Dan or I. We are hoping to have enough people helping that we dont wear out those who do.
We are also going to be asking friday night for people to help with safety on the creek race. Either in boats or throw bags on the shore. If you can help there, Bring your throw bags.
