Just throwing some feelers out there to see who can rally for some consistent weekday kayaking. I just made the transition to living full time in my truck, so working is a very low priority as I no longer have any bills.
I prefer the area between Sea and PDX (The Cowlitz zone is my favorite) but I'm wiling to travel to other areas as long as I can get a few days of kayaking out of it. Im a class V boater, but I am happy to boat class II as well.
Looking forward to hearing from other dirtbag kayakers, as well as those folks that have their "weekend" during the weekdays.

-Jared

Jared, keep my number handy. We're doing Robe at 9 this morning and a second lap around and 11 or noon. Hit me up!

You may be the coolest person on the planet right now. I have a lot of midweek time off and can do some class 2-3 with you if you are up north(king, snohomish co.) for other stuff and want to get more kayaking out of your trip.

Hey Jared, I have a lot of weekdays free nowadays and want to get out. I'm more of a class III-IV boater, and always looking for other weekday paddlers. I live in Kirkland. I will be gone for a trip next week, however.

Hey Jen, thanks for the contact info. I'll actually be gone until the 18th as well, but I'm hoping to boat as much as possible after that...

Add me to the list. I can often slip away for anything less than class V. Prefer early mornings to beat the traffic.

Megan, Lisa, and everyone else, thanks for the responses. I'm glad to see weekday kayaking is alive a well here in the GNW.
I'll be back in the area on the 17th, so I'm hoping on getting out on Friday the 18th if any of you have it off.

I'll be free on Tuesdays in a few weeks. Just moved to the area and I'd like to get out soon.  Class III/+ is my preference.   I live just north of Tacoma.  262- 853- triple 0 7.

I used to be a class IV/V paddler, but it's been awhile. I'm looking to get back into it this week and hoping to hit up the sky or whatever is running. Anyone headed out on Wednesday or Thursday?

I'll probably be hitting the Sky this Thursday afternoon. Haven't pegged the time yet but I'm thinking 1:30-2:00 at the put-in for a run down to the RR bridge. Will post-up on Weds night when I get an exact time dialed in.

Hey Jen:

Sounds great - it'd be great to see you, and if you can make it out you'd save me from the bike-shuttle-of-death!

it's looking like 2PM at the takeout is the earliest I can manage. I have a pass that we can use for the Cable Drop put-in.

I have a new phone - can you text me your number if it looks like you can make it? My numero es dos-0-six three-3-uno tres-3-one-three

It'll be myself and a friend of ours visiting from NC, but we'll be in a single car so I'd be happy to do the run from Cable Drop down to Big Eddy if that's what it will take to avoid the white knuckle bike shuttle on Highway 2.

I'll plan on being at the Big Eddy takeout at 2 and seeing you there unless I hear otherwise.

Guess I'll chime in here to express my availibility to boat weekdays--
In fact, it looks as though I may be running the Sky today and/or tomorrow. I know it isn't all that high, but its been a few weeks now and I gotta paddle.

Any interest? Hoping to get out on the water early this afternoon. Got some stuff to take care of first. I'll check here or you can PM me. Otherwise I'll post my timeframe and just paddle solo, so there's always the possibility of just showing up to the put in and catching me there.

Hey weekday boaters-
Anyone want to hit Robe tomorrow if levels hold enough?
5.2' or higher and I am down.

Sure, I got "other stuff to take care of", but I figure if flows don't drop off too quick, may as well hit up some robe water while its around.

SO MONDAY ROBERS hit me up!!
