Snoqualmie River Powerhouse PSE Public Access UPDATE

Several paddlers have inquired about PSE's grand re-opening celebration event for the Plant 2, Lower Park on Saturday 14 October. The PSE event will be held in Snoqualmie on Railroad Ave. Visit http://pse.com/aboutpse/ToursandRecreation/Pages/Snoqualmie-Falls-Celebration.aspx for more information about the event.
Please note this PSE event is Not synonymous with river access:
- NO vehicles will be permitted at the river access parking lot at the end of Fish Hatchery Road on 14 October,
- Walk in access continues to be closed and will also be prohibited on Saturday, 14 October, and,
- River access prior to 14 October is Not expected.
PSE will provide a river access date as soon as they can and thanks the boating community for their patience and understanding during the final phase of the work required to restore river access.
On a similar note, it has been verified that the boardwalk will be accessible via the upper trail only, the boardwalk will be enclosed with protective screening and there will be NO river access via the boardwalk.
We hope to have more information on restored river access to the Snoqualmie River Powerhouse section sometime next week.
