That sounds like Gwen Stefani; probably a colab with a punk/ska band back in the day

What was the song?

Excellent footy BTW

Just trying to keep it real, that's how I roll. You boating this weekend??

I have to throw all the bootie beers on the back end of the video at the end of the year!

Nice footage... the name sounds familiar... I think it's one we had on the idea list when Brian did his short video "dude, where's my gnar"

Great video in there... the red kayak that's pinned, even though it didn't look like really huge whitewater was still a bit scary... the swim at Chelan gorge was sick.

Wiggins had some headcam footage from nahatlach canyon this year with a couple rolls that was amusing. Maybe he'll share that.

since yall seemed to ignore Scott's comment, allow me to elaborate:

"Chronicles Of Gnarnia" is a video showcasing Colorado whitewater, produced by none other than this site's own: Explwhore.

Just lettin you know, Dan. No biggie, but the Title has officially been taken sometime several years ago (I don't remember when it came out, but Scott knows). It also features some footage of one helluva bad ass Old Fart tearing up the V!

That Chelan gorge is something. Some people have acted as if it's somehow not special enough for their jaded sensibilities, but when you really examine it as a Washigton Run, it is unique to say the least. Great warm water class V drops, clean pool drop. Unique canyon scenery that is easy to get around in/on. No wood in the crik. Runs when other stuff is dry. It's worth having this added to our incredible buffet of whitewater here  in Washington! Glad you guys are getting out on it when the opportunity presents itself.

Ahh, that makes sense.

Explwhore: My bad dude, never heard of the video. Sorry 'bout that. I'll buy you a beer.

Chelan is awesome! There's even rumors of multiple lap trips next year...

It was scary because all Joe and I were concentrating on was "Right down the middle". Then he got pinned quite a ways off the shore and leaning upstream. Pretty tense until he was out of the boat and we had a bag on it. Worked out though.

I have TONS of carnage... I only posted  a taste of it and only the people I know wouldn't mind. Except for the Colorado guy in the Yellow boat. I don't know him, but he was a good dude. The goal here is to laugh about our mistakes, because I make a lot

I have a lot of fun making these videos in-between cold calling out here on the peninsula and I would like to make a longer one that we can show at the 2011 PP Ball while we are enjoying some cold beer and waiting for the Applets and Cotlets manager to set up the course. So, if you have video of carnage or bootie beers, email it to me and lets make this thing happen.

Cheers

cool wit dat- just remember to LEARN from your mistakes as well. Not only what caused the carnage to begin with, but what happened afterward- i.e. how did the participants mobilize for the rescue. If we treat rescue like another form of freestyle to be savored and enjoyed, we'll get really good at it for when it counts, I hope. Looks like you were ON IT when the pin unfolded. You make me proud, Dan!

Chelan- it's awesome to see people mobilize for that, speaking of mobilization. But at that "Double Slide" rapid:
no offense, but should we maybe try to wait until we fully got our foot in the door with the PUD before we go sh*tshow'n down it? Fcuk it I don't care, just wondering if we risk jeopardizing our access when there are cameras on the rim. You got 2 sh*tshows in a row there. Personally that is one of those drops that can't really be run in control by many people to begin with.

In the Chelan Gorge it may be worth remembering that we don't own that chunk of whitewater the way we own all the rest- the Chelan County PUD does  ( in the shadows of wilderness where no one watches us, we can do whatever we want and I love that freedom).

Not try'n to tell anyone how to boat, just give yall some food for thought. I don't like playing the Curmudgeon, as I've been accused of being, and I realize I often come across that way, but I'm just voicing what no one else will. It's all of our access that could potentially be at stake in there, which may warrant just a little bit of self control if we want to keep it.
