James -- we need RSS river levels! user-defined list, just the homepage list, or whatever, it'd be awesome!

Why I am in XML Mode are there any other RSS feeds that peoples can think of that would be nice to have around?
Perhaps a Gallery feed?

Correct... The whole river thing is ok because it is not an issue if one person see's another person's favorite runs. It is currently open that way already.
But to make a RSS feed for PM's we would have to remove a layer of security and that would allow one person to see another's PM's ... thats no good.
We could do a For Sale By Owner feed and a Reviews Feed though!

FSBO definitely -- one RSS feed for the whole fam of sites? that's damn useful!
140+ posts on the board ;-), and that's just with board members! only one person dissatisfied. pretty good!

Well dog gone it Brian ... I am telling you I would go crazy using that system the way it is all setup right now, that was just a little demo... We have some real goodness to implement over there before folks really get their socks blown off.

BTW... if I was not going to Canada this weekend I was going to finish the work on the Shared Forums and Shared Trip Tools... Thats gonna be the shizz but alas I need my wata.

Great idea Brian!
Now, can you get RSS to work on your blog? I've tried several times but never get it to work. I'm subscribed to other blogger sites too. What gives?

Hey Ryan, thanks for reading man!
the feed is http://riverlog.blogspot.com/atom.xml -- I am able to subscribe via google reader. It is atom, not RSS, so, some tools don't like atom feeds ...
if you let me know what trouble you're having, I'll see if I can sort out any problems on the server end ...

might not be a link, I really need to re-template that sucker so old posts are a little more easy to find.
Been a bit of a slow year for camera work, so I haven't really been working on the blog other than posts when we've got some decent shots. Hopefully the crew will be coming back together for the rainy season!
I'll add an rss link next time I update things.
