2011 Operation Applets & Cotlets
This year were actually going to be doing the Operation a little different to ensure an optimal event and result set.
The Goal: To collect as many beacons as possible for your team.
The Game:
- Two teams will be created with an even number of participants.
- These paddlers will then launch down the river following the Riot Raft.
- The riot raft (my yellow sotar) will have 4 people on board. (1 Guide, 2 paddlers and 1 launcher)
- The launcher will propel glowing beacons with the assistance of the guide and 2 paddlers.
- The two teams will then retrieve as many beacons as possible with the requirement of holding them through the run!
- The event will start at the PP Campground and end at the Cashmere Park.
- The team with the most beacons wins!
The Operation is set to begin May 28th at 11:00 (pm)
All participants are requested to meet up at the Ball Campground at 10:00pm for instructions and team selection. The Riot Raft will be the only Raft allowed, unless raft teams are able to be evenly distributed between teams.
