OK, so I was out on the Sky yesterday and it was around 15K. For the longest time, I've heard that the ledge right bellow BD turns into an epic wave at that level and well...it is true.
It was big, retentive, steep, and fast. A great wave. Big enough to throw 2-3 feet of air on, my brother watched me throw on blunt where my bow completely cleared the water for the whole trick. So, I think that a wave of this quality needs a proper name. Unless others disagree, or unless it already has a name (please tell me if it does), I'm going to start calling this wave the Tuxedo Wave because it is so slick. If anyone thinks this is dumb, has any other ideas, or already knows a name for it, let me know. |

Rob would be the one to ask.... or the Turnbull's... I can not imagine that wave not having a name though.... If it is un-named and your going for Slick, maybe you should call it jiffy lube? ------------- |

That's the weir, which is the low water name but the wave has always been thought of as "the weir" as well. Make sure you guys check out the aquagasm hole which is (I think) new since I saw you out there last. 3000 cfs or so on the left side, first ledge or so down. |

"The Weir" just seems pretty inspecific to me.
As I said in the previous post though, Tuxedo was just an idea. If it already has a realy name, we should stick with, if anyone has a better suggestion then that is cool too. |

I don't think you can make suggestions on this one. I have heard the Wier as the name of the feature in general and disco as the name of that wave before now that brett mentions it. I don't think that hole in the top of aquagasm has a name. How bout you name that... you could call it HolyTuxedo... lol I think that again it most likely already has a name. ------------- |
