The wood is now gone from Hole In The Wall, and Garbage thanks to the Sunday Robe Crew (ok so it was all Way-Rad's doing).  She's all clean now.  We didn't see where the cut wood ended up so...you know...keep an eye out.

I'll confess to my first 2008 swim (1st part of Tunnel).  Pretty easy swim, self-rescue with boat, & paddle was returned promptly by a solid effort on Brad's part to retreive it.  Rest of the day went greasy for me, not-so-greasy for some others.  My bootie-beer was down the hatch immediately upon reaching the takeout.

Yesterday was The Robe's day.  She made her presence known.  Not exactly a race-day pace (6 hours on the river), but we got a LOT accomplished.

That's awesome you guys got that out, thanks for doing that.

It would be good to know where the wood ended up though,  I'll keep an eye out next time I'm down there to see if I can spot it.

Ryan's the man!!  Amazing what can be accomplished with a cheap saw, and a little motivation.

Yes, Robe was in full swing.....quite the eventful trip.  On the plus side, all issues / incidents were handled really well.  Group worked well together, and great to see all the team work.  Lots of good safety set, as well.

For someone who hadn't been on Robe in a while, great to get out there with such a capable group, especially considering how many folks we had.

Everyone got their "gas money's" worth out of the trip.....

Race training resumed this evening with a sunset session on our way home from Van Island .. no errant wood to speak of.  Ryan r00lz for doing that.

Head's up to anyone paddling in the next couple days.  There's a yellow Jefe on river-left in the rapid directly after Garbage.  It belongs to a PP member & I'm sure he'd love to reacquaint himself with his craft.  Hopefully it doesn't come up too much tonight & move the boat.

Schertzl ... nevermind ... you kook.

Unless I go down to HR this weekend I'd be stoked to do Robe on Sunday with you, Hans.
I'd say for a raft 5.2-5.7ish would be best.

Tristan and I bombed down Robe this evening, no sign of any Jefes, although at our warp-speed pace it's possible it may have been overlooked.

Sweet! I just talked to Hans, he's all fired up. It looks like there will be 3+ rafts going down the Robe.
We're meeting at takeout at 10, it'd be awesome to see some of you out there tomorrow.
