What a fun and killer trip, I hope we can rally for the payette again this Labor day.

I want to make a special point though. If you look at the 45 second mark, you can see that I let go of the paddle. I was using the predator carbon fiber full face and it does not stay down. This is not an issue of outfitting, it is a poor design. To go off a medium sized drop and have a carbon fiber chin guard obstructing your view / not protecting your grill is bad. Having to let go of your paddle to fix your gear mid rapid is almost worse.

You can't adjust the chin strap so it pulls the front down more?

I think we saw you fellas on that weekend. Was our first time there and the river definitely lived up to the hype and will hopefully be able to make it a yearly event.

I wish Dan, even with a tight chin strap the sucker moves like crazy. It is an issue that has to do with where the chin strap is attached to the helmet.

Gordon, try cutting two wedges of foam shaped like a banana - http://caideboca.files.wordpress.com/2007/10/banana.jpg - Not like this one though. Glue one in the back as a lower head/neck brace and the other shaved to fit just at the brim of the helmet by your forehead. That will keep it from moving around and provide better protection, I am pretty sure at least.

Thanks James, I will try that out when I get back to the pnw. U also looked at the sweet dull face and I am considering riveting in a support chin strap to keep the helmet more solid.

Dan- the helmet is super sexy! I hope that I can retrofit it
