Anyone been into the Grey Wolf this year? Wood situation?
 
I suspect it's always bad but was curious if anyone has the latest. Im itching to run it.....send me a message if you're interested

I ran it a few years back, like 3 or 4. decapitation canyon was full of wood.tons of wood portages down lower in the gravel bar lower section. a few other drops had wood in them. just go down in july after the water has dropped and check it out aim for ~700 cfs on the dungeness gauge. the Grey wolf makes up about half the water in the dungeness. when we did it I think the gauge was around 430. I wouldn't go any lower but there was plenty of water in there.

Adam, I understand G W flows from a lake and it just never gets the big flash that rivers like the Sky, Stilly, or SF Skok get, so the wood just stays. Hoov won't even go in with a saw. Post pics!!
