I was wondering if anyone was interested in hitting up some class III-IV over towards the Olympics today (Friday) or over the holiday weekend.

Dungeness this afternoon and tomorrow morning. Camping at dungeness forks campground tonight (confluence of dungeness/gray wolf). Sorry for the late notice/post... Upper has 3 short portages and lower has 4 short portages. Hope 2 c u out there!

trip report: 3 short portages on the upper, mousetrap is clean. 0 portages on lower. both sections have several log ducks/boofs in swift water to minimize portages.

Will, thanks for the report. Good to hear the run has cleaned up. Last time I was there was in 08, and it was a LOT more wooded than I'd seen iin there before.

Have you been into the Gray Wolf recently?

Haven't ever done the GW, but have been reading & re-reading korb book description for a couple years...the part about "miracle mile" really sounds interesting. Possible recon mission next weekend...
