Missing AIRE Wildcat Blue Cataraft with Sheflo frame. First the Police say they have it, then they don't.

Tim Loftis has been keeping his CAT boat on the River in Gold Bar on the Skykomish River. The boat went missing on 8/21/2011. Office Sisk was contacted with the Sheriffs dept. and he stated that the boat had been confinscated by the sheriffs and he needed the Vin number to get it back. Tim had bought this boat with through Salty at Alpine Adventures and they kept the paperwork - Tim can't find the VIN number but he has many pictures of the boat and his name is written on the boat. Salty could find the VIN but won't. Maybe someone who knows Salty could get him to show a more positive side of his character and get the VIN number to Tim.

Call to City of Gold Bar: They stated the what they heard was the fish and game departement had taken the boat and the Sheriffs dept. got the boat from them. They said Tim would have to contact Officer Sisk directly for this matter.

Call to Fish and Game Dept: The fish and game dept. says they did not pick up the boat on the river and they don't do that. It's 13 1/2' long inflateable with a metal deck. Standard issue CAT boat.

Another Call to Sheriffs Dept.: they now state that they don't know anything about the boat and they don't have it.

 This is just a screwy situation.  Tim has around $3000+ into this missing boat and the oars, etc.
