My name is Nelson and I recently moved to the area...Fort Lewis...and I just started kayaking. So far the only people I know to go with are myself and my friend Rich (who also just started kayaking. We haven't done a whole lot of big stuff, the Leavenworth section of the Wenatchee (one of my favorites), done the White a bunch of times, a small section of Icicle Creek (didn't end well), I went down and did the BZ section of the White Salmon. Basically I haven't done anything too big but would like to get out with some other kayakers that could show me the ropes. So if anyone is going out in the area and want some company, let me know. Thanks.

Hey Man, welcome. Look for trips to the Green. It's close by, fun, and very popular. There's a class 3-4 gorge and an easier lower section depending on what you're looking for.
