I'd say we are just passin out of the season for it, bro.
You probably want at least 25, or more like 30+ thousand cubez on the Sky. Just speculating.

There's some sick lookin sh*t up there, huh? Kinda junky in places, but some nice lookin ledges and whatnot. Yeah, maybe peak snowmelt, but I bet its more in that Halloween to New Years zone.

if you haven't done it its worth seeing once ?? maybe twice. I had a good time in there but wasn't something I would go out of my way for unless we nut up for the last big 80' slide. there were some classic ledges in there and also some classic grade A bushwaking.  I think the work Vs fun ratio is a bit skued but it is fun and STEEP...  I remember walking up the trail looking at the river asking "we're not boating that are we" oh it boats......   I would be down again but not till I can wear some shorts and hike in the heat

Heres a blog posting of our trip last July some time

can't remember but I bet we can archive USGS.  It will gage differently on the Sky from summer to fall like most runs. rain fall gages dif from snow melt.  I don't remember the sky being huge ???  Brett ? Christian ? Fish ?  I can't remember it was kind of visual ???

I think on our Sat trip we had 6500 falling to 6k on Sun trip. I would call 6k a decent low and 9k approaching high. We did it after peak melt last year. Snow could be a factor on the trail pre-peak.

We had 6300 cfs on the sky guage when i went in, but 7000 and dropping would have been more ideal.  Anything over 8K would make the big ones a bit too rowdy, but the filler rapids would get better.   EF Miller is best run with long spring days due to the amount of scouting and bushwacking involved, but obviously motivated paddlers could rally anytime.  I'll be going back in there this spring to finish what i left in there,  this is a run you can go absolutely huge on,  enormous slides and stout but runnable drops.

Fish try it again for me. I did a little tinkering with extra code to help people that don't want to copy and paste the exact URL were looking for.

Remember to post Youtube Video's you never post the embed code, just the link / page.
