While I think it'd be fun to run both the Upper and Lower Gorges on the Green, I've been paddling the MM at 1k-1.4k a bit and want some time on it a little more filled in.
I know we've got an afternoon run (let's call it 2pm, though it may slide a little early or late by the time it happens) on Sunday, and the more the merrier.
Saturday, 11am I presume? Possible double run?

I may be into tomorrow around 11. I would run the upper Green but sprained my ankle so going to take it easy tomorrow.

So we'll be seeing blue and white instead of green?

I'm going to be seeing Green if the Green is at least 1400. 2000+ on the Green way tickles my fancy more than 2000+ on the M&M. Just sayin (popular phrase lately).
Anyway, not high jack'n your M&M's but Ima keep it Green. So if anyone wants some Upper Gorge hit me up early sat A.M. otherwise I got a bike.

jP, I enjoyed myself a lot last trip on Upper Green, but I'm more apt to hit it when Paradise is in. Since I've learned a bit about the MM in the last few months, this will be a good experience to learn hydrodynamics of a "familiar" run at different flows. I'm still new to the area, so still getting a handle on different runs and their behaviors at different flows. This is the run I've done the most out here so far, and I like knowing a river in a variety of moods. Keep me in mind for the UG at flows of around 1500, though.
I got a few hook-ups outside the PP board that are showing up tomorrow, too. Gonna be chilly, but should be a good time!

I'm sure people will be paddling at normal times, but we've also got the relaxed crew going at 1 for anyone who wants to be a little less rushed in the morning.

MM guage is at 1300. That's way lower than the forecasts graphs are showing. Maybe it'll spike back up by morning, but even at 2000+ or so, you guys will find more qualitative action mile per mile if you come out to the Green at 2300. There's a lot more detail worth getting to know at all the various flows, BTW.
No, seriously. The Upper Green is where the quantitative action is packed for sunday. No contest. Yall should reconsider. That's where I'll be anyway. Paradise 11 or Noon. But, probably not 1pm.
Follow your bliss though. That's the important thing.

Yeah, I know. It is what it is. Yesterday I had invited someone along who didn't want to run the Upper, despite flows on the MM bein below what was forecast. We still had a group of ten or so, with other groups on the water as well.
Today, well, we made plans with others who have time constraints and other personal reasons to stick with the MM. Not much my place to state other people's business, but I'm part of that crew and so I'm hangin' with them. And one o'clock is going to be about as early as we can get our asses in gear.
I thought the flows were supposed to stay the same on the green, but I just saw the other topic. It makes sense, though.
I do want some full gorge run action before the spring season ends, and I'm especially keen to hit paradise when it's a good playable level.
Also itching for Tilton, again. What an incredible river!

Tis noble to stick with one's crew. Virtuous, in fact.
The cool thing is that we got SO MANY OPTIONS 'round here. One can't go wrong.
Have a good time out there. Don't scape too much plastic.
April and May are good months for the Green, and you can bet that anytime its above 1500 I'm likely to hit it up from here on out, at least till about may. My focus could be shifting drainages, geographicly speaking. But in April expect some after work runs coming together as the flow warrants.
