Lost my paddle today about a mile from red bridge on the stilli. There's a good chance it's still in the strainer that I got caught in, but should wash out if the water comes down. It's a Werner Rio, black shaft with yellow blades. If found please call Ethan at 206-383-6696, I'll pay cash or beer, you choose.

"strainer that I got caught in"  Can you elaborate for our education? We might be going there this Tuesday, and will look for it!

About a mile below red bridge the river makes an s-turn. There is a big tree taking up the right third of the channel (in the main current). By the time we saw it, it was too late to move left (there are a bunch of rocks in the center of the channel which made it basically impossible to move left once in the right channel). We tried to ferry across but there is a TON of water flowing into the tree. I tried to high-side my IK and hold on to the limbs but got flipped out. I managed to push off the tree and swim clear of it. My boat was pinned under the strainer until we managed to free it. I would recommend you put in at the bridge down stream of red bridge and just avoid this area. The log is definitely avoidable but there is quite a bit of wood in that area. If you do want to run red bridge down, run RL at the S-turn and keep an eye out for wood!

Bad news... I think I found your paddle or at least what's left of it. I found one chewed up blade a couple miles down from where you lost it. Didn't bother salvaging it. It was a yellow bladed rio.
