Hey there!
I am new to Seattle and to paddling. I am looking for some people that are willing to let me paddle along. I have been doing mostly grade 2 and a little grade 3. Been paddling around Colorado, Utah, Idaho, and Washington.
I have my own boat and all my own gear!
I am living in South Seattle, but willing to travel to paddle and camp! I would also like to find a lake or pool to practice my roll at.
I look forward to meeting some new people!
Megan

Welcome! Just keep an eye out here and you will see people posting river trips and such. Probably the Middle fork Snoqualmi and lower Green will be running for a week or two more.

a good place to practice rolling is at the University of Washington Campus football stadium. There is a launch for boats right next to the stadium. This time of the year the water next to the docks is warm and the sun is extra sweet. There is even a shallow launch pad where a person can stand next to you and help with roll if need be. I actually need to practice some stuff my self and I wouldn't mind trying to plan some kind of rolling session out there at some point. lots of seattle paddlers so you shouldn't have any problem hooking up with folks in your skill set.

Hi Megan. Welcome to Seattle. I paddle class II-III a bit and you're welcome to tag along, if you can stand our nonsense. We've been making big noise about roll practice on Lake Washington. We've been waiting for you to show up and organize it. :-) Let us know.
