I have a day off tomorrow with no plans and dont do seafair, so this sounds like easy fun and close. It all goes, but you need a ducky to do it. Actually its kinda fun and challenging at these levels, if you have the patients...

Patients? What kind of patients? Are we talking heart problems, clogged arteries, or just mental disorders?

Thank goodness! Double the patients you'd have would be beyond my patents for patience!

Talk about a s%$T show... Me n Davie went down today.

The fishing was silly with crazy hatch fish buzzing everything but there were some bigguns in there too.

None the less it was my PFL ( Personal Low Descent) And not disappointed. Pack a lunch and weave on through. an IK is a must IMO. If your fishing stick to http://images.icanhascheezburger.com/completestore/2009/5/13/128867240293326183.jpg - this pattern and lure.
I don;t like lugging the IK out of paradise just FYI

ubber boney... Elf does not begin to describe it ... But with that in mind if you are aware of what you are in for, winding little shoots and micro eddie moves then it is super fun. The fishing and fish scoping is why I went ... welll that and the fact that my wife is due in the next few weeks so I can't break off to far from home...  is it worth it, depends. for whitewater .. probably not unless you are in an exploring mood. Can you get down ? Sure. Is it clean ? NO

Do you have to walk any drops? nah we ran everything but had to shimmy here and there for sure.....

sounds like it would be worth giving it a go. I like the exploring factor. congratulations on the soon to be new born. I hope all goes well with birth and all.

I found it extremely fascinating! When you look downstream all you see is boulders and no water sometimes, then the line just opens up and you find your way through. One thing for sure, it is a great workout!

We only had to get out occasionally and move the duckies through and over a few obstacles, but no portaging at all.

One thing you will need is beer and food though...

I was nice fishing too. Good to know that the silvers are already starting to move up.
