Looking to spend the 4 days (Friday thru Monday) paddling in BC. have never paddled in BC before and am looking for suggestions / recommendations.
What's the BC equivalent of PP ? ;-)
I am looking for Class III - IV runs
I was thinking about hitting up the following
- Chiliwack canyon section (Is it still running??)
- Ashlu Pay Run
- Elaho-Squamish
- Nahatlach
Thoughts?
I have heard that when the locals say a river is too low to run, it is actually just fine and when then say it is medium it's high ;-) Also heard that a BC III is a WA IV and a CA IV+
Please enlighten the clueless

Seems like gauges are a rarity in BC
Any idea on what is actually running?

http://fraservalleywhitewater.com/ - http://fraservalleywhitewater.com/ Above is about as close to PP as you will get in BC. Just click on the link and then click on the forum button.

Bridge River: You currently need to have permission (prior to visiting) from the native band that lives there to access the river. Several groups have been turned away, or nearly turned away, this summer.

I don't have the number here with me, but I'll post it up when I dig it up. You can PM me to remind me - it's past the season for the lower Bridge now anyways.
