Smoke is not bad. Fire is much smaller then the ones in the news. I wouldn't avoid the trip due to the fire.

Well, Apparently the Forest Service politely asked a certain kayaker in a red boat to take out early because he was leaving a blazing trail of flames in his wake, jumping basalt pour overs from above the dam to well below Waffle Wall.
Ha! And then I woke up when my bow tripped on the weird curvey branch of wood that was hidden in the foam pile on the Pyramid Boof...

haha, not gonna be out there this weekend, so enjoy the rio. Last weekend was enough for me, now it's time to pray for rain.
