I'm seeking great fall colors paddles on Class 1 rivers no more than 1.5 hrs from Seattle. Any tips?
Of those, any hazards to watch for? We'll be on SUPs so fin depth will be an issue in low water areas (approx 10").
thanks in advance... Rob

Sounds like the Skagit would be the float for you. Its a big, deep river and Copper Creek to Marblemount is all class 1. There's lots of salmon in the river now too. You'd have a great perspective for seeing them.
