the rapid immediately below hole in the wall (typically run river left) had a landslide on the right bank. a half dozen or so maple trees came down with the slide and completely blocks the right channel. the wood extents nearly river wide to about 10' off the left bank. use caution. i would expect the wood to move downstream with 8+ feet water.
you can get around it far left. obvious from above ------------- |

Sounds like it. The one with the bad undercut on RR, not the triple drop thing.

Wood in Dead Deer is not in play as long as you take the normal lines.
Wood in Garbage sucks! Its in the worst possible position; pointed trunk/branch the size of a christmas tree with no branches. Pointing upstream and to RR. You coulllllddddd make the middle line, but no one is gonna reach you if you hook your lifejacket...

Yeah - I'm pretty greatful Ben took the extra time to get out and scout. I nearly went down the middle - but Ben warned me just in time. I think at low water we might be able to get it out.
