Brian Berger and I paddled the Grand Canyon Elwha earlier this year. I heard it was a special place, but words really don't do it justice.

Here's a look at the Elwha when we were there. Getting close to 200 photos... the Grand Canyon Elwha is a special place and worth a lengthy stay. A wonderland of gnomes and goblins await...

Really cool photos!  I love this "hike in" style of paddling.

The link doesn't really stand out. It appears as normal text until you mouse over it. It's supposed to make the site look cleaner?

Anyway, go down to the lower left hand corner and mouse over "Grand Canyon Elwha".

Pretty cool stuff.
