Just a heads up.
It's "kind of" in play. This thing could be a big hazard for someone out of their boat.
It looks like it's gonna move soon as well...

Thanks, Danimal-

Miss boatin with yall- maybe its time for a real job soon. Take my weekends back. fu*kin cold and rainy in Gbar

Missin Der Sunshine, ya

So, that limbo below the double boof sequencd is the same. You are refering to some wood that was on your right as you ducked the limbo wood, yeah? Looks like it "pokes" out at ya a little. Ah fu*k it I can't even get over there to boat it seems. I guess I'll find out when I'm scouting it.

Hey everyone who rallies the Upper Ici: do me a favor, pretty please?
Take the time to scout Log Limbo on the way up especially if you got someone unfamiliar with the run w/ you. Then once your first two or three lead boaters get to the bottom, if you got a big group consider hopping out of your boat and setting saftey on the wood pile river right. River left isn't as effective place to set safety. The log jam on the right is an objective hazard that only takes a few seconds to pre emptively cover. Keep in mind that if you don't set safety there, and someone gets un lucky, the response time will be protracted and behind schedule. Just food for thought from more than one experience where someone just happened to get into trouble there

That piece has shifted and is now across the channel there and you should not run right at all in the rapid. The safe line is to eddy out behind the big boulder and then take the left channel.

Thanks y'all for the heads up!!!

I figured it was going to shift more and likely block that channel. Be heads up in the next week or two over here, the temps are going to rise and there is still snow and higher elevations so I think we are going to see a pretty decent bump in levels which could move some sticks around some more.   NOAA forecast is for low 80's till Sunday then upper/mid 80's with 90 on Monday and mid 80's next week in Wenatchee. Possible Round 2...

Thanks again!!!

Bummer. I'm not such a fan of that auxilery left line anymore- that manky spot in particular. But the double boof right channel is one of those recurring wood catcher spots...

Hope mother nature cleans it up...

After looking at the footage dan has and mine from yesterday, it is probably about in the same spot, maybe a little more left in the boof. But, the level was lower yesterday and I did boof onto the log making contact (yes, I know).

this wood was already plenty scary enough to make me want to portage last weekend, especially when i saw one of our group flip in the ledge. the core boaters, however, were not intimidated...
