Is anyone trying to paddle Friday? I have the day off and was planning on heading to the sky. Would also consider going somewhere else if anyone has ideas.

I can try to be there early but I got a little bidness in Mt Vernon until probably 10ish. Probably looking at 11-12 for me. Index to Split right?

If you can shoot for 11 that would be great. Index to split rock works. Meet at split?

Also, any idea what the level is? The gages have been frozen since Tuesday afternoon.

Check american whitewater or text 41411 and you can get updated levels!

That's the USGS list. Was 3500 last time I looked. Not sure if I can make 11 or not. Depends on how long I'm stuck in Mt. Vernon. Just text me at 4254225923 and I will let you know when I'm headed that way. I'm suprised no one else has chimed in with the level being this high.

The text 41411 thing is pretty sweet for any who are unfamiliar, just simply text: level (whatever river) & it will return a message with the current level reading. The service also recognizes many of the common nicknames ie: level sky, level mm, level robe, etc., pretty handy for any of y'all out there still packing around dumb phones or stuck in areas where 4g ain't so g

That text thing is sweet! Thanks for letting me know.
Mike: that works, just the earlier the better for me.
