The road to the put in at Drumbeater has been trashed. Three major rock avalanches occurred dumping massive amounts of debris down on the road. One section of road will need replacement due to the buckling of the asphalt. I ran into a county supervisor who reassured me that they still intend to get to work on the washout at Trout, fall of 2016. He was super bummed to see the road carnage and explained what a pain it is to get trucks over the pass to clean up the mess. That's one of their reasons for wanting to fix the Trout washout. Good news. The wood at Drumbeat is flushed, so that's clean for the intrepid class fiver- sticky sticky ledge.
