There's some sticky, sappy vegetation all over the lawn at the Paradise parking lot (Green River). I made the mistake of letting my puppies run around there and just spent the last hour and a half trying to get it all out (olive oil, a wide-toothed comb, and then shampoo -- and believe, me, it's challenging with a 4-month old puppy!)

Good to hear the dog is okay and good advice in general..
I've seen a few dogs nearly drown, most dogs and people in general don't understand swimming in whitewater.
Sounds like the terrain was the issue but I've had to rescue two dogs that wound up on the wrong side of rivers.
