There's a big difference in being able to just run a rapid and run a rapid with style and skill. I've seen some people run a rapid only to get hammered or ran it off line and lucked out and think they've succeeded at running that rapid. This is an interesting article that some people might be interested in reading.

Great article, lots of excellent points and really well written. Nice to see a top-notch paddler using themselves as an example of what not to do rather than doing the old finger-wagging at other people thing.
