Wow! I actually have a free Sat. before I head to the Skook to surf. So It would be a good idea to get out and boat, anyone have any ideas? James are you in for something ? Sorry no class V, I don't want to break anything before the Skook. Is the sky doable, or, this may sound insane, how about a low water run down the upper green river gorge. I've heard of people doing it this low, it may take a few years off your boat. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions please let me know, I'm desperate (100 mile driving range day trip) I almost forgot, there's always Westhaven beach state park in Westport for some great ocean surfing, good prep for the Skook.

I am free this weekend, but am not sure what is decent locally.  I did the White Salmon this last weekend (and it was great), and am pondering a trip up to Squamish in the near term.  Let me know what you are planning...

Without going to Canada, or down to the White Salmon, it looks like the Skagit and Sauk are the only options...

We have been out on the Sky almost everyday, it is low but there are still a few good surf spots.  The top of Boulder Drop is the best put in at this level.  We will be out there Saturday, i'm sure, since we're locals.

Dave -

I think I am either going to head down to the White Salmon again (great run last weekend), or do something in Canada.  If you are interested in either, let me know.  You mentioned a day trip, and both of these would probably be for the whole weekend.

Hi, Ya I'm stuck on a one day trip, my grandfathers bday is on sunday, 92, were having a big party for him. I'm seriously considering the ocean surfing right now to get warmed up for the Skook. Lets do the chilliwack some time before the end of summer, my friend lives up there and he sid there is some good play spots, or After the Skook I may head up with you guys to Cananda.
