Hey everyone-- to anyone interested, I'm putting together a trip up to the Skagit  the weekend of the 21st. The primary mission is to check out the Bald eagles. My girlfriend and I are going to run the lower section (class I & II). Details aren't firm yet, we may run that section on Saturday and then run the Goodell Creek to Bacon Creek section on Sunday (class II,III). We'll wait and see how the weather is and who else is interested in coming.

It's a great low risk winter trip for all of you class II boaters out there, Just dress really warm. Anyway, if this sounds like something you're into, call me up.

Happy New Year!

WHAT?! No takers?!!!!

What's the matter--not hair-ball enough for you? You know theres THOUSANDS of surf waves on that section! THERE ARE!! I SWEAR!! They just all happen to be 6" high, that's all.

C'mon. Doesn't the thought of FREEZING your ASS off on class I sound GOOD? Actually it's been holding steady around 10,000 CFS all week. It May rise. Combined with the Hypothermia factor that should make it a SOLID class II+++.See THAT? THREE PLUSSES! Now THAT'S hardcore.

Man I am NOT doing a good job at selling this trip. Guess I'll see if anyone on the WKC board is biting...

I'm in.

I live in Burlington. It will be nice to not have to drive far for paddling for once.
