This is the SF Stilly Today discussion thread. Please post any questions below.

Remember the actual Trip Details are located on the SF Stilly Today | Trip Page

This trip is the result of Sampson's sky trip that is also posted today.  That thread got kind of long winded so I am posting this trip.  Come one come all.  It should be a nice III+ level today.  Lots of fun.

Meet across from the Verlot ranger station at 11.  Give me a call if you have any questions.

We had a good run today on the Stilly even with the steady rain.

One note, there is a large tree fallen across the entire rive about .5 miles below wiley creek rapid.  At about 6.5 feet on the guage, we were able to barely sneak under the tree on the right.  Above 6.5 feet, the tree will be difficult to see and there is a small rapid (III-) leading into the tree.  At higher water levels, this will be a very scary strainer and the portage will be tough as the river banks are pretty steep on both sides of the river.  I've added this alert to the Stilly river page too.
