Calling all non-playboaters........Is there anyone going out to to Leavenworth this weekend who is NOT going to park at Rodeo Hole and Trinity? Given that my playboating moves consist if the front surf and the ever-popular "flip/wash off the wave/roll up" I'll be sticking to the creeks. How about a shakeout cruise down Engals Creek/Peshastin Saturday afternoon?

How's about you drive up to the Little Wenatchee and give us a snow/road report?  Please?

I was thinking about heading up there on Monday (taking the day off).  I'm hoping to get on Ingalls into Peshastin and then shoot over to Rodeo and Trinity, etc.  This assumes the levels are okay.

Ingalls would be awesome. I'll be working on the ramp, but call when you guys come up with a time and I'm in. 206-353-5101

Ok, how about a season-opener on Engals/Peshastin late Saturday afternoon? I'll be guiding during the day, so it'll have to be late. Sunset is at 8:41......let's call it 5:00 at the Engals Creek trailhead.

Hey Oukr9965,

I can hang out in Leavenworth on Moday if you want to run something. What were you looking at running.

Hey Meghan,    I've been kicking around the idea of the Foss or Money on Saturday if flows get high enough.  Let me know if you're interested.

That won't change if you don't ever try.... And you can boat with me if you do. But why would you want to do that?!

No. I will not go creeking.

There's only one rapid on the run. Thing is... it starts at the put-in and ends at the takeout...

I'm planning Wen play Sat, ramp, then Ingalls. Sun another play run and if it comes up enough (15k+) an afternoon Sky run.

I'll be pushing rubber on sunday, but should be done with that by three or four. I'm gonna do a rodeo to cashmere run after that.

I have been wanting to do the little wenatchee depending on levels this weekend or in upcoming weeks.  May have to wait until after the event given other things that need to get done...

So I just checked the forecast again.  Looks like the main will be up towards 20k.  That pretty much means all creeks in the area are too high (at least for me).  I think Saturday will be the best day for play, since everything might be blown out on Sunday.

A note on the Little Wenatchee:
I live right down the road from there, and the road is still closed.  I rode my bike up past the gate to see what the snow was doing, and there are still patches of thick snow in the shady areas.  The Forest Service won't open that gate until it is bone dry (because it is thin pavement, and some big RV's go up there-they don't want to have the road get damaged).  It will be a while before that one opens, is my guess.  I did not even get to the road junction, where it splits to both side of the river.
Also, the submerged log in Peshastin (fresh squeezed) is still there from last year.  the right side is still open, however.
