I don't understand why Subaru wouldn't  buy him a nicer suit. Who is his competition? As dedicated as he seems to be to things, he'll probably do a decent job.

My guess is that Not blinking is probably good if you're a politician.

I wonder if he will have billboards of him lying on a bed in his underwear holding a "Vote for Me" sign?
 
I agree that he will probably do a pretty good job at about anything he really puts his mind to.

As successful as he's been in everything he's done, I'd be willing to bet he's going to do everything humanly possible to succeed here too.  The guy's got maniacal dedication.
 
And Leif's right, he can't be doing it for the money.  Unless he's thinking really far ahead, in which case, he needs to get re-elected, so he HAS to do a good job.
 
He gets my vote
