I just wanted to toss up a quick reminder to you know who!!!

I want to see that footage of we know who, running you know what! I will toss a few bucks into the hat as long as it goes to his pockets for new gear or what not. Maybe we could all pitch in and buy him a Mega pack of the little tree air fresheners... we all know his car needs em!

And here is a funny thread I happened across while I was looking for footage of you know who.... http://ups.wwclubs.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=13&PID=69#69 - Sunset falls 1st decent!

Settle down Faussett Jr. ... your grand pappy was easily our forefather too, but that does not take away from modern achievements!!!! And for the record... I think running that thing in a modern kayak is way more crazy than running it in a log that's a quarter length of the drop it self with a sheet metal spray skirt! Nothing off his feat but when its beat ... its beat!

Come to the High Dive in Fremont February 27th at 830 for the premiere of the Risen Sun!
Rob's descent is featured, and it's some of the most unbelievable kayak footage I've ever seen.
After the movie there will be live music including my band!
I'll post more details and a poster once we have one.

THE RISEN SUN, a Huckin Huge Film

It'll be hittin' the stores near the end of January.  Rob and Jake did a great job with the segment.  As fiddle said, Risen Sun Premier on the 27th of Feb...will be a great time.

Is Rob going to get royalties?

If he is going to get a percentage, that is definitely a video that I will buy!!!!

silly humans! i love it!

STLboater-- you miss spelled "Fosset" .
Mr. Faucet jr. should attend the screening and see it for himself. Maybe Gordon can invite him.

An amazing feat from Mr. Rob, with or without air fresheners.
I doubt Al Faucet had any air fresheners, that's for sure.

see you in the funny papers

His boat probably smelled like pine or cedar though !!!

I am pretty sure that's a scent you can get in one of those little trees...

Faussett Jr here.  Al always said that he didn't care what you wrote about him as long as you spelled his name right.  I am the same way.

By the way, I attended the showing of Risen Sun at the Dive In last week and was blown away.  Can't believe some of the rides those guys made.  But the best had to be Rob's at Sunset.  Have to take my hat of to him.  Has to be a major reason that it hasn't been run since Al did it in 1926.    Ask Rob about those seconds that he was under water.
