I just got my water bill for two months. Aparently I used 9 units. That equals around 6,612 gallons. Apparently I am using about 114 gallons per day on average. That is down from the last two months at least. We truly are a water rich country.
That is a lot of water per day just for me and I could use more easily in the summer with lawn watering and car washing.
Makes you wonder when you see people on the news dying from dehydration...

That is a lot of water you use there. Is it from kayaking in your bathtub during the winter?

I was told I was using over 1000 gal per day on the shoreline house I was going to buy. Turned out a check valve was never installed, and the water was bouncing back and forth through the meter as the inside pressure changed relative to the water system pressure.
Typical usage for a single person is 2 units per month, I think.

Correction, we are a water rich state. WA/Oregon and the east coast have plenty of water. Out here in CO and the Southwest/California, water is a huge worry.

It might be those long showers I take, and that hot water on my sore shoulders sure does help. I figure probably use around 40-60gals during a nice hot soaking...
