If so, please pass the word that I'm offering a half-day clinic on the Wenatchee on July 11 ($45; $40 for ACA members), focusing on techniques for paddling big water. I'm drawing on my recent experience in Chile, paddling the Fu at high water, as well as ACA training (I'm a certified level 5 instructor) to review basics as well as introduce new tactics to cope with bigger waves, holes, etc. The Wenatchee should be low-ish but do-able, so we'll be able to focus on finesse, not survival.
