I've finally had some time to get to know my 2010 Burn, and have put a detailed review up on our website-

Sweet, Leland- thanks for sharing your insights. You can definitely see the puffed up stern in the the new Burn profile, and the edges do look a bit softer, if the photos shadow lines are any indication.

It was difficult to see the change in the "waterline" edge in the photos, subtle as it is.
I got to take a peak at one and it looks rad. I'd like to compare an old and a new in the flesh.

Looks like you all are having a good spring back East !

great spring down here so far - several high quality runs have been going and going.

Rocky Broad is the closest ww to my house - 2.3 miles of technical class IV/V that just finally ran out of water as the leaves started peeking out yesterday at 1200 feet. Got a lot of runs on that one this spring. Northern mountains should keep flowing for another week or two, so maybe we can milk another Watauga weekend - and our dam releases get going in earnest the next two weekends as well. It's supposed to hit 80 degrees tomorrow or Friday - but what I'm hoping for is more rain to stretch this thing out until we hit the road at the end of April.    It won't be a tragedy if we spend our last two weeks in town on the Green, though.

Leland - Great review and photos too. The chines are really different, and I am surprised that they made such a big change on what I thought alot of people really liked. Makes me want to check out that new model to see what the design offers!

Yeah, Mike, we're road tripping this summer to "promote the book." Seems like a good enough excuse to me.

With the snowpack how it is, I'm not sure when we'll get to the Northwest - might be late season Tumwater. We'll be there, though. Hopefully we'll get to boat with you!
