I decided to do my part in saving the planet and stop burning mass fuel with a big SUV. I traded my SUV in for this fun little guy.

You can hold all the comments, I already heard them all....clown car, girl car, wind up toy, etc.... Everyone shuts up when they find out it gets 40mpg and can go 130mph!!!!

Ya, Ya, I know its my sea Kayak on top...bla bla bla....

There you go. With that sea kayak up there, I wouldn't want to push much more than 80 mph. You could inadvertently start gliding.

Honestly, I'm jealous. We are looking at getting something with a third row of seats, not something that with one and half rows.

For those of you who say my truck is a gad hog...

When carrying a full load (5), a small vehicle carrying 2 would have to get 37 mpg to match my truck. And I can easily carry 10 boats.

Make that "gas" hog. Wish I could edit...

You have to be in Jame's super happy special club to get to edit.

You'd  to find 10 people to ride with you for your math to work out.

Additionally, you could also "edit" before you post, as in, stick a booty in it!

Ok, but if you made plans with  ten, you might get six to go, at least one would undoubtedly bail mid trip, and two of the remaining four would stiff you on gas $, so dave still wins. (even though I think minis are stupid and 40mpg ain't that good for such a tiny overpriced pos)

Just face it dude, your truck gets sh*tty mileage, and most of your driving is by yourself. You ain't doin' the planet any good.

You forget that you already posted brett?.... lol

Saving Gas is great, it is also important for the economy but environmentally consumer cars stack up to just a sliver in total emissions and fuel consumption.

I wish I had a local park and play spot, then I wouldn't have to drive at all.

Dave, I heard those things actually didn't get all that great of mileage, but I guess I was wrong. And don't be ashamed to sport the Saltwater boat on PP. Most of the paddlers on this site could stand to broaden their horizons a little anyway.

If you get the performance version with a turbo then they don't get great mileage. But the basic version I have gets around 37 in town and I have been getting 40 back and for to Bellingham. I used to get 19-20 in my suv on the freeway, so this doubles my money so to speak...

Isn't Dave in that car like 20 pounds of potatoes in a 10 pound bag?

Like it Dave. Just saying.

Actually this car has more leg room than any car I have ever owned. And I have owned a lot of cars and I mean a lot!!! I have owned a lot of trucks too....The only other vehicle with more leg room is the new Dodge Challenger.

This car is like one of those rooms on  Wilie Wonka and the chocolate factory...

Ouch, I'm offended now.

Since I bring my slide rule along to calculate my survival odds before every rapid, I hold that because I'm still alive... mechanical engineers are pretty good at math
