This is the beginning of a string of paddling trips on the Wenatchee put on by Leavenworth Mountain Sports for beginner/intermediate paddlers. Sign up, it's gonna be a really fun spring and summer. No liquid sunshine on the east side!! After this trip, Crossfit Cashmere will host the premiere of the epic kayaking film Dream Result which includes footage of Tyler Bradt running 186 foot Palouse Falls!!!

I was just talking/paddling with Marco Colella today and Saturday sounds fun. Saturday and the other paddles are going to be about sharing the stoke and having fun paddling together. It will be about helping each other get better and welcoming people into the community so don't be shy. Come play...

This Saturday April 24th.Paddle The Wenatchee- brought to you by World Kayak, CrossFit Cashmere and Leavenworth Mountain Sports 10am : Meet at the Cashmere Riverside Park to arrange shuttle to put-in for a paddle on the snatch. 6pm: Showing of "Dream Result" by River Roots @ CrossFit Cashmere come as early as 4:30 to hang out, BBQ will be on deck, byo-chair, bring your kids-- door prizes -- Free -
Paddle, share the stoke, help each other get better and shred the Wenatchee River. Free event to welcome people to the community and share the love...

This is going to be a really cool series of events/paddles that Marco and others are getting organized. Yesterday we had a blast dorking around, learning new tricks and getting fired up for each other. We had people learning their first back deck rolls, hitting their first loops, surfing with out flipping, Marco throwing the biggest loops I have ever seen in Turkey Shoot, practicing McNasties and just straight playing. Come check it out
