Yo Yo!
Any interest in running Richochet down through Bonus Rounds.... this upcoming weekend should provide more good levels for this section, albiet not high, but managable fun roadside IV+/V- whitewater.
Not planning any carpools, just 11am put on ....
Give me a shout or shoot a pm if you are headed out and would like to connect.

Oh and to all you East siders- ain't been much representation lately cept for the usual suspects (Marco and Pat);  working weekends?

Top Tye maybe an option also if Sky levels stay elevated over 5k  ....

PS
Don't forget your Mom's flowers for Sunday!  :)

Are ricochet and bonus rounds on the tummy or the icicle? Ran green bridge to cherry hole last friday and it was totally rad... Never been on the icicle though.

Ricochet and the "Bonus Rounds" that follow are generally considered the crux sections of Icicle. They are, however somewhat more manageable at lower flows (roughly below 4,000 on the Wenatchee @ Peshastin Guage- just rememeber that the gauge at Peshastin can't accurately be relied upon to determine Ici's flow.

If you take Wenatchee at Plain and Wenatchee at Peshastin, subtract the two values, and take approximately 75% of the difference, there's your rough Ici flow. And this is what the virtual value on the Rivers Page reflects for Icicle.

(Someone feel free to correct or fine tune what I said if need be)

Yeah JP, you're pretty right on with your assessment of levels for Icicle.

Snow Crk is generally a good meeting spot as it sits in cell coverage, but upstream from the cascade is a pull out with a bullitin board that is the takeout for the middle stretch (bonusrounds) run.  That's a good general meeting spot also....

For my part I plan to be there Sat/Sun camping at the Hill Stomp spot, maybe cya out there Jp....

Yeah James!!! Isn't "Tres" the goods? Did you shuttle in the suburban or get directions? If you can you should ride with the crew from Das Rad as they are the pioneers of freeriding in our area and they will show you some goods. I sold my big hit bike because the water hurts me less... See you soon bro

Gonna be one more weekend for me, too James. We need to caraVAN in there and set it off! Low flows scared me away this weekend, but maybe there's more water in the Ici than my Wenatchee Text message could reveal out in Elkhorn country....

too far to drive to at any rate from the L-Dub/L-Khorn circuit, that's for sure.
