Topic: Tekno For sale Posted: 21 Apr 2008 at 8:20pm |
Yes, It's true, the ULTIMATE Play/surf boat is for sale!
You may have seen the red rocket out there tearing it up and now it
could be yours for $300.00.
It's bean paddled hard and put away wet, but is in great shape. At
49gal., it's just to small for me and I need to get a bigger play boat.
It' super comfy and very responsive on a wave, it practically auto
surfs!
Call Dave at 253-two six one- 3194 if your interested. Or PM me on this
post or Professor paddle. I will even deliver it if you are in the
Seattle/Tacoma area!
I will even throw in the sprayskirt and an old paddle for another $100.00!

Here is what some say about the Tekno:
Riot has done it again. Combining the visions of master designers Corran Addison and Arnd Schaeftlein, the Tekno is a kayak that will forever change the face of freestyle. Paddlers using a Tekno will be easy to recognize: they'll always be airborne and moving faster than any other paddler on the river; imagine the blur of speed and the grace of a figure skater's triple axel. Holes, waves and eddies, big or small... the Tekno is designed to exploit what every water droplet has to offer. Tekno is the next revolution in freestyle kayaking; the one paddlers have been waiting for. Prepare to have your mind blown!

I always wondered why it was so easy to recognize you on the river, Dave. Now, after reading the description, I know. It's the Tekno.
What will we do if you sell it? How will we recognize you on the water?

lf you can throw down your creek boat in flatwater (excluding kickflips), it is probably too small for you.

Dave, listen to booftoven (I am sorry, but that is still so stupid). He is right. On a REAL creek (not the middle middle or the green), if you find yourself linking up a bunch of rodeo moves, you are not doing it, it is being done to you...
guess the outcome.

Oh yeah, one more thing...$300 bucks for that boat is a rip off. Mabye if you included the sprayskirt and paddle, then the price would be just.

I just paddled the Tekno at the powerhouse and it's true, "The Tekno is designed to exploit what every water droplet has to offer."
Wow, what a mind blowing experience!

How about this:
Tekno playboat, Snapdragon Sprayskirt (excelent condition), old whitelightning 45 deg. paddle, old pfd, old Kokatat dry suit (good condition), and a book on how to kayak, and I'll even throw in an old pair of size 13 booties! ---------
All for $500.00
If I don't sell it, I may just ship it all to my son in North Carolina. How much would that cost?

Wow! The 4Fun is awesome it practically rolls itself and it is so comfy! I am totally amazed! What a boat and it's light. Why didn't I buy one of these years ago? The happy seat and feet are killer. It's like sitting on a comfy couch, I feel so guilty. isn't kayaking supposed to be painful and uncomfortable?
NOW, SOMEBODY PLEASE BUY MY TEKNO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
