Hi Liz,

It was great paddling with you the other day and I have no doubt that you will be a great kayaker and will certainly continue to enjoy the sport. Definitely find your own line down the river, because I belive you certainly have the skills!

Dave

Hey Katrina,

I don't live in Olympia but I'd paddle with you. I live in Duvall (east of Seattle) but I am new to town and trying to meet paddlers. I'm paddling 2's and 3's these days too. I am out of town till Sept 14th, but am around after that. Its better to reach me by phone though.

Dave,

Thanks very much for the vote of confidence.  The MM was fun!!!  Thank you for showing me down the river, and helping me out when I got worked in that hole for my first time. :)  I very much appreciate it.  I may have been blowing steam out of my keyboard on my earlier post, because I'll gladly take all the help I can get (I may not follow all of it, but that's why kayaking is an independent sport, right?).

In the end we are all people, be we male or female, who seek solace in the rhythm of the river.  Some of us just have extra hair ties in the back of our car. :)

James, you need to wear those scrunchies! Because when you don't your hair whips around in the wind like an old pickup with a loose tarp covering the load!
