 Topic: River Descriptions - let's update them! Posted: 20 Apr 2009 at 11:44am |
Hi fellow paddlers,
I'm getting back into paddling after only doing a couple runs a year for a few years. This community is great, and is one of the reasons I'm able to get out as often as I have in past few weeks.
Looking at the runs listed, many still don't have descriptions. I'll write up the Powerhouse next time I run it so I can make sure all my details are correct, but I'd love it if some of you would also add some descriptions, or update the existing ones.
Thanks to those who have already contributed and especially for those who post the alerts on new wood in the water.
I'm particularly interested to know more about the Burnboot Creek to Taylor River run: http://www.professorpaddle.com/rivers/riverdetails.asp?riverid=597
Thanks to all of you for building the community, and for just being out on the rivers.

Didn't mean to steer the thread off topic - I completely agree, there are tons of runs without much beta with regard to rapids, wood, etc. If I ever get around to paddling something that isn't documented, I'll try to write something up!
