Leif ~ Dogs can't type so I fail to see your point yet again, which leads me to wonder if anyone would want to read your "fake" posts either.
There is through proper evidence in physical nature, a balance among living creatures; required to achieve health and sustainability. Some may Yin while others may Yang. Through observation of posts I see we have reached a small balance on the board. Some smile, some cry, a few come and a few go.
We are however missing a balance on Hugo. With the recent departure of KTW who will offer humble correction and educated views on any topic required? I feel we need to locate a good know it all to fill this void.
Wetmouse could suffice, however his views often times confirm the negligent remarks of this E-Bully Huganad.
Water Wacko is an obvious selection but I am afraid that could spiral out of control. Like two little dogs fighting over a bone.
Megan would be ideal since everyone is itching to read and see more of her. Might be a bit risky to match her against hugo though, considering his past inclination to hump the leg of the bliss-stick babe.
DragorossiNW might fit the bill since he has law enforcement training, but then we would just be plugging the board with more spam.
Dave would be a disaster with equal flood of useless posting...
Who will keep us safe from hugo's teabagging...

There are more fake names on this thread than real ones. I love how folks are afraid to attach their thoughts to their real names. We know who most of the folks are, but "Sir Boofs a Lot" is the new kid on the block. Could it be KTW's alter ego?
It amuses me someone things KTW's posts are humble and educated. Jon Shelby put it best in a post in December: "I don't need some spoiled rich kid telling me what to do." I appreciate that in Jon (hope he is having fun in Alaska) - someone not afraid to call it like he sees it, and not feeling the need to hide behind a pseudonym.
Boating is predominantly an individual sport. Those who partake have strong egos, strong wills, and strong opinions. Debate is healthy and feelings will get hurt; it is the natural order of things in a community of strong personalities. Hiding behind ones alter ego is unfortunate, and probably has something to do with individual's fear that they would be rejected by the group, and cast out of their clique. I have always been amazed at the beauty pageant that is this sport, and at the paradox of the strong-willed sycophant.
Integrity is a virtue. The obfuscation of identity has no place in a sport and a community where we must often place our lives in other's hands.

Some of us merely yearn for freedom of expression, Leaf. Like Carvival, or a masquerade ball. It isn't necessarily hiding. It is... enhanced expression.
Was it not Picasso who said "art is a lie that makes us see the truth" or something to that effect...
Check that thread. I remember it, but your quote may be lacking in accuracy. Get your facts straight and stop making assumptions, Web_Yakker!

Funnywater:
I think you just justified my frequent use of hyperbole, but not the masquerade that is frequented in this thread.
Jon deleted the comment...I pulled from email archives.

Whoever said they ran FITW recently is full of shit!
I am up here right now performing a detailed photo-recon (JP might not like that) that I will post in my gallery later.
I only see one set of old snowshoe traks and no entry evidence of any kayak, plus there is only ten foot high cliff snow banks on the river, so no way to scout or get off the river.
I could be possible, but I doubt it!
Some new wood on one of the top drops above the pool put in area, the pics will show that it is completely blocked.
I don't see accessing FITW for at least two more weeks or more if it doesn't warm up.

Dave you should leave a visual sign on the river tonight and then give a quiz to those that said they ran it earlier. If they know about the sign you place it will verify the truth.
Don't poop at the putin though, that is a little too much, and you still Owe a bootie beer from the MM yesterday btw.

Dave, thanks for helping to prove there is more bullshit on this thread than at that new sewage treatment plant they are building in Woodenville.
I thought it seemed unlikely anyone had run it, but I was called stupid.
Regardless, I still think Hugo and Meghan are one and the same

NO one is running this! There is Limbo or Larry's Ledge as some call it. Here is a shot from below it. I just love scouting from the comfort of my computer!!! Wood is present in a few of the drops now. More Wood in the Fearsome Foursome... Wood at the Bottom.. Yup, Fishermans is good to go... The Takeout looks kinda really hard...they must have been wearing crampons on their booties...

news flash Jeremiah - a tree does not make a sound when it falls if no one hears it.

That is not true at all. A tree is loudest when it falls with no one to hear it. That must be why they keep falling ... apparently were just not paying attention!!!
